About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Hello Sir/ ma,

My boyfriend overstayed in China for more than 8 years, he paid the fine and left, how long will it take for him to be eligible to re-enter China?

Was he departed? If yes, then he is not allowed to enter China within 1-5 years. If no, his new visa application will also be influenced by the long overstay.
