I want to take a soft sleeper train from Shaghai to Kunming.Is a 33cm x 88cm x 55cm suitcase too big to take on a soft sleeper?

According to the regulations, it's too big but don't worry, you can carry it to the train as the staff is not strict usually. You can set it between the two lower berths.
