About:China Customs Declaration

American ginseng Gift

Hi,
I bought some American Ginseng for my family who lives in China. Do I need to declare it? and how much can I bring?

If it's not wild and planted by humans, you can bring it in. But still, you need to declare it, have a documentation proving it is man-planted and the quantity should be reasonable for self-use. Anyway, it's not advised to bring it in, just in case of any troubles.
