day trip to zhongshan from zhuhai

Will be staying in zhuhai on 25/4 till 29/4.What would u recommend places to go for day trip to Zhongshan n also places to go in zhuhai. For transport how to go Zhongshan From zhuhai. We have a group of 8 pax. From Macau airport to go zhuhai. Do u recommend by bus to custom in the late evening arrival at 8pm. Will the custom be crowded at that time. How long have to wait for clearance. Please advise. Thank you.

You can visit Zhongshan Museum, and Sun Yat-sen's Former Residence. From Zhuhai to Zhongshan, you can take high speed train from Zhuhai to Zhongshan, which takes about 20-30 minutes and the ticket fare for a second class seat costs CNY 30 per person. It is okay to take a bus and generally you need to wait about 30 minutes for clearance.
