Hi,Question 1: If I am leaving Japan at 11:00pm on April 10th and arriving April 11th at 1:00am in Shanghai, can I leave Shanghai to go to Korea on April 17th? Does this qualify?Question 2: Can I stay at a friend’s place for part of the trip if I register and go through the steps as well as staying in a hotel in another city in the region (Hangzhou) for the rest of the trip?Thanks

1. Yes, there is no problem. It does qualify the rule. 2. Yes, you can. But if you choose to stay at your friend's place, you need to register at local police station.
