HK to Shanghai train on TWOV?

Can I take a same day high speed train from Hong Kong to Shanghai Hongqiao on TWOV if I have a flight to the UK the following morning?

The train departs Kowloon at 11:10am. First arrival port in mainland China is Shenzhen at 11:28am. Arrives in Shanghai Hongqiao at 7:30pm same day. The flight to the UK is 10:10am the following morning.

Obviously I wont disembark the train before Shanghai but appreciate that the fact the train stops in a few other cities may affect the visa requirements to that of direct entry by air.

If this route is eligible, which TWOV programmes does this route qualify for? 24 hour TWOV only may be tight if the flight the following day is delayed or rescheduled.
