About:Chengdu Tianfu International Airport

Transit only at Tianfu airport (without leaving the transit area)

As I will do a short layover (less than 5 hours) during the trip from Rome to Osaka and I do not want to leave the transit area, do I need to do any customs/immigration or sanitary check? Or can I just move to the departure gate without any additional check?

As the immigration procedure has been exempted so now you only need to go through security check and there is no other procedure.
