About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Bucharest via Amsterdam - Shanghai via Amsterdam - Billund

Hello, Denmark citizen departing from Bucharest via Amsterdam then 6 days in Shanghai. Return to Billund via Amsterdam.
Can you please let me know if this is eligible for the 144 hour visa free transit?

Unfortunately, here we have the situation the same as in your post located bellow this one.

As you can see, the immediate points before and after your Chinese destination are again in the same country - Netherlands and that is not eligible according to the 144 hour visa free transit rule that clearly states that the immediate points have to be in two different countries or eligible territories. You are advised to try to alter your itinerary or to obtain a Chinese visa in advance.

If you can book your Bucharest to Shanghai on Air France and your Shanghai to Billund on KLM (or vice versa) you would be eligible because your route is then France-China-Netherlands.
