About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Looking for guidance on 144hr transit policy Beijing

I have a flight from Denmark to Sweden to Beijing to Frankfurt to Denmark. The stop in Beijing is 65 hours. Is this eligible for the 144hr visa free transit in Beijing?

Under the assumption that your flights:

Sweden - Beijing

and

Beijing - Frankfurt

Do not have any additional landing of any kind, then you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit. At the time of your check-in in Sweden, you will declare that you will travel to Frankfurt via Beijing and although this seems to be a bit funny, it is perfectly within the rules.

Upon arrival in Beijing, you will approach 144 hour visa free transit counter where you will present your flight tickets and your hotel booking confirmation for, at least, your first overnight. After a short check, you will be allowed to exit the airport and to spend your time in Beijing at your own. You are advised to print out your flight tickets and your hotel booking confirmation and to have them at hand.
