About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Titre De Voyage issued in the UK (refugee travel document)

Hi

Can I able to transit through (6 hours transit time) Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Brisbane Australia on a Refugee Travel Document issued by the UK government? My nationality stated there as Sri Lankan. If someone can advice on this would be great. Thanks.

Yes, you are allowed to transit through Guangzhou based on 24 hour visa free transit. This is fine, but you should be aware that you will not be allowed to exit the airport or in other words, you will have to stay airside (in the transit area) for the entire length of your layover. Also, I hope you are traveling on a single (through) ticket that implies that you do not have to perform any additional formality in Guangzhou because that could complicate things to a certain degree. To be precise, it would be the easiest to fly on China Southern your entire journey.
