Fruits from Thailand transiting china - cheked in luggage

Hi!
I will be flying to Europe from Thailand through China (SHanghai)
Wanted to take with me fruits+ coconut in the suitcase (will check in in Thailand). My layover is 21h, and I wont take out the bag in Shanghai.
Is it ok to have there fruits or will they open suitcase and throw them?
Thank you!

Though Shanghai is exempted from the border inspection procedures for those are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit, I'm not very sure about if the fruit is possible.
