About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Hello! I am an American traveling to Hainan in March for the LPGA golf tournament.

I am flying from the LPGA golf tournament in Thailand. I have two questions:
1) How do I register with a Hainan travel Agency in order to obtain the 30 day visa free entry?
2) Does my flight to China have to be direct to Hainan, or only connect through Hong Kong?

1. It doesn't require registering a travel agency any more. You can enter according to your return flight ticket and hotel reservations.

2. It is okay to connect through Hong Kong but impossible if stop over in other mainland Chinese cities.
