Taking fresh vegetables/fruits out of China
My dad is going home after a visit to China. He wants to take some fresh vegetables and fruits. This includes a few lotus root bulbs, fresh peas (not frozen), and some strawberries and tangerines. Is this allowed? And if so should it be in the carry on or checked baggage. His flight home is just 5-6 hours long so less risk of spoilage.
