About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Malaysia Passport Holder

I am laying over in Xiamen for less than 12 hours, twice, back and forth trips. Does it mean I need two transit visas?

Yes, unfortunately, Malaysian citizens have to obtain a transit visa when transiting through Xiamen airport. In your case, you will have to obtain a double entry transit visa.

Thank you so much for your reply, appreciate it! I wonder are we able to achieve TWOV-24 in PVG Airport Shanghai instead? Since it is only stated that Malaysians needed visa in Xiamen and one other airport.

Yes, you definitely are. Xiamen is practically the only problematic airport in this regard. Shanghai is fine for 24 hour visa free transit for Malaysian citizens.
