About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am holding a Malaysian passport and going to visit Hong Kong next week. If I want to take train to Shenzhen for 1 day trip from Hong Kong, do I need to apply Visa On Arrival or 24hours TWOV?

24-hour visa-free transit is not eligible for a return trip (Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Hong Kong). Train is not available for VOA. You can take a ferry to acquire VOA but it also has a risky of being rejected. So it is better for you to obtain a Chinese visa in advance.
