About:Shanghai Travel

Nanjing to Shanghai

I will be travelling from Nanjing to Shanghai by taking high speed train,
Notice that, there was a lost of train station eg Nanjing , Nanjing South , Shanghai , Shanghai hongqiao etc.

I staying in Novotel Nanjing Central Suning (No 68 Huaihai Road, Qinghuai District, Jiangsu Province, 210005 NANJING, China) and going to stay at Grand Central Hotel Shanghai (No.505 Jiujiang Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai)
Please advise which train station should I take in order to reach to my Hotel in Shanghai. How much was the cost for the highspeed train?

Hotel to Nanjing Train station and Shanghai Train Station to Hotel. How long to reach ? What transport to reach each destination? eg taxi, metro, bus etc
How much was the cost?

1. From Novotel Nanjing Hotel, you can take Metro Line 1 to Nanjing Railway Station or Nanjing South Railway Station, both of which have trains to Shanghai. However, Nanjing South has more trains and it take about 30 minutes by Metro Line 1 from the hotel's nearest metro station, Xinjiekou Station. It takes about CNY 4.

2. The Shanghai hotel is closer to Shanghai Railway Station, which is only 20 minutes by Metro Line 1 from the railway station to Renmin Square. Get out of the Exit, you can walk northeast about 600m to the hotel. It takes about CNY 3.

3. It costs about CNY 104-170 for a second class seat per person according to different trains and the duration also ranges from 1-2 hours.
