About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can Philippine passport holder apply for a 24 hour visa free transit

I will be going to hong kong this november for 5 days. Can I do a day trip to shenzhen and go back to hongkong on the same day using a 24 hour visa free transit? Or do I need to apply for a regular visa to visit shenzhen? thanks

No, you cannot use 24 hour visa free transit to visit Shenzhen because a trip to Shenzhen and back to Hong Kong is a simple return trip and not a transit. There is 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival, but I do not suggest it because the rejection rate is quite high. So, obtaining a regular visa in advance is by far the best solution.
