About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit in Guangzhou

Hello, in March 2024 i will have a flight from Rome to Taipei with a stop in Guangzhou of 6 hours.
If I don't leave the airport, do I have to complete any formalities at the airport during arrivals? Will I have to go directly to the boarding gate without any type of passport control?

You are eligible for 24-hour visa-free transit. And there is no any procedure for you if you don't plan to get out of the airport.
