24 hours transit visa free

Hi, I plan to travel with China Southern airline brisbane->guangzhou(15 hours stop over)-> Kuala Lumpur with malaysia passport. Is there an temporary permit that I can apply at the airport if I want to book a hotel at airport surrounding which require to exit the airport?

Yes. Upon landing, got to the 24/144-hour visa free transit counter to apply for a temporary stay permit, then you can leave the airside.
