About:8 Tips for Filling Out Chinese Visa Application Form

Departure date for z visa?

Hi,

I am currently filling in the application form and I am confused. I will be exiting China to Bangkok win order to apply for a new z visa and then re-enter.
The application form is very confusing because it is asking me for date of departure and flight bookings, but on a z visa I will convert it to work residence permit so I won't need to leave.

What should I do?

I think it means the time of departure from an overseas city to China, not the time leaving China.
