Arriving earlier possible to change earlier timing ticket?

Hi , if I bought a 15:57 timing ticket but arrived earlier than expected. Can I change the ticket to an earlier timing say 14:57?

Generally, you need to change at least 24 hours before the departure.

I’m not able to change 24 hours adv , but only when I arrive , can I then change at the ticket counter ? Likewise if I’m late for the train and it has departed , can I change to the next coming train ?

Yes, you can change to the next coming train if there is still a seat available. If not, you will not be able to change it and this is mostly the case because the train is full most of the time. BTW, a service fee of 20% will be charged if you successfully change the ticket.
