About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

How do Malaysia passport holder apply for transit visa to stay in Beijing airport for less than 24 h

I hold a Malaysia passport and need to transit in Beijing airport for 8 hours while travelling from Melbourne to Paris and 13 hours and 40 minutes when returning from Frankfurt to Melbourne. Please advise how do I apply for a transit visa? Thanks

You are covered by 24-hour visa-free transit policy and there is no need to apply for any transit visa. At the 24-hour visa-free transit counter, you may apply for a temporary stay permit to get out of the airport.
