UK - Shanghai - Bali

Flying from the UK to Shanghai , visiting Shanghai for 32 hours & flying to Bali

Is this route eligible for the 144-hour visa-free travel or 72 hour

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in wider Shanghai area and you do not need any kind of visa. 72 hours is non existent in Shanghai area because it was replaced with 144 hours scheme years ago.
