If I were you, I'd be assertive with my mom and letting her know that this is my life, my choices and decision and happiness is in my hands.
By letting others interfere in our life, we lose our individuality, and then it destroys our happiness. It starts to deteriorate not only the marriage and relationships, but many factors and areas in our life.
