About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

My Do i need a transit visa or free transit visa

Hi
Apologies i just correct the date of Arrival

I would like to ask if Do i need a transit visa Im travelling from philippines on Augut 5 via China southern airlines to Guangzhou Airport ,lay over 24hrs ,i book a hotel to rest some few hours before flight at August 6- UAE,Dubai ,do i need a Transit visa or free please let me know thank u

Joem, if your total transit time (layover) in Guangzhou, based on your scheduled arrival and scheduled departure is exactly 24 hours, you will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Anyway, if your scheduled transit time is longer than 24 hours just for a minute, you would need a transit visa. Please, do yourself a favor and present here your exact arrival and departure times as stated on your flight tickets to allow us to calculate the entire time properly.

Also, if your entire transit time is 24 hours or less than that, you will approach the 24 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit to be allowed to exit the airport and enjoy your stay and an overnight in the hotel. This temporary entry permit is issued based on the length of your entire transit time and the presentation of an accommodation booking confirmation.
