About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

[MALAYSIA PASSPORT]SINGAPORE-BEIJING (20hours)-GENEVA

Hi Sir/Madam,
My flight from Singapore to Geneva, stop at Beijing 20 hours, flight CA970 & CA861 Air China, I plan to get out Beijing airport and go to Beijing city area.

Can I have 24hours transit pass or temporary arrival permit? How to do? Is this free?

Hi Sir/Madam, I feel confuse after asked others, they replied before Covid, they can apply temporary entry permit, but now is not available.

Up to now, I haven't heard such rumors. Anyway, it is true someone has been rejected due to a short too much short transit time.
