About:China Visa on Arrival

Traveling by ourselves to Hainan. Do I still need to register with local travel agency.

We are planning to visit only Hainan (not Mainland China) for 3 days in July and have booked our own flights and hotel. My wife has a Malaysian passport and US green card. Does she still need to get a visa prior to landing in Hainan. Since we have our own tickets and hotel reservations, is the only reason to involve a travel agency is so that they can forward our travel itinerary to the Bureau of Exit and Entry Administration of Hainan Province. Can we do it ourselves and cut out the middle man. Or does she still need a visa as we have not registered with a travel agency (since we don’t need one)

According to recent feedback, it is not necessary to register a travel agency and offering your flight tickets and hotel orders are enough. Have a nice trip!
