About:How to Apply for a China Visa

Hi, I am wondering if this travel fits 144 hr visa

Phoenix - Los Angeles - Taipei - Shanghai
Reverse order leaving

Is your itinerary in China part is Taipei - Shanghai - Taipei? If yes, then this is not eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit.

You should know only the places before and after Shanghai matter.
