About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

How long is the target processing time for a permanent residence permit in shanghai?

I filed my application on the 22nd of Feb this year. I have been told differing time frames for the official target time for processing, from 90 days to 90 working days, and up to 6 months. Do you know if there is a target processing time and what it actually is?

Also, if I decide to change employer during the application processing, will this affect the application? I have a great offer from another company, but i am not sure how long they will wait.

Generally, it takes around 5-6 months and changing a job during the application process is really not recommended. You can also contact the hot line 12367 for more accurate information.
