About:Chinese Paper-cut Museum

Is COVID test needed for Shanghai layover

Hello, I will be traveling from Hungary to Cambodia via Shanghai layover. I won't leave the airport in China during my transit. Do i still need to take any type of COVID test, and fill out the health declaration from? Or do I need to, only if i leave the airport? I can see different information everywhere.

I know entering China must require an antigen test within 48 hours but I'm not very clear about transfer. Anyway, it is still suggested to prepare one for a smooth trip and it is not difficult to make a self-testing antigen test.
