About:Guangzhou - Shenzhen High Speed Train

Hi, What is the difference between C and D High Peed Trains?

You have described the G and C trains but no mention of the D trains. Can you please elaborate?

1. C trains mean the InterCity Express with the speed of 160~350km/h. D trains are bullet trains have a speed of 200~250 km/ h. However, generally D trains are faster then C trains as the speed of the latter ones are usually below 200 km/h.

2. They have different routes. C trains are generally operated among neighboring cities so the routes are shorter than D trains which run between large cities.

3. Due to short routes, C trains don't have sleepers but D trains do have.

4. Still, due to routes of different lengths, it takes a shorter time to take C trains.
