VOA Zhuhai for Indonesian Passport

Dear Sir / Madam,

We would like to have a day visit to Zhu Hai sometime next week in our Macao / HK,

We are Indonesians, currently no active Chinese Visa. But we have had one long time ago (before 2010),

Will we be able for VOA or do we need to apply Chinese visa from our country? (Online application

Darien,

Since you were granted a Chinese visa in the past, you should just bring your old passports with those old visas and you will be granted 3 days Zhuhai visa without any problem.

Also, recent feedback tells in favor that Indonesian citizens are granted a Zhuhai and/or Shenzhen VOA even without having a previous (old) Chinese visa, but this is something I cannot confirm with certainty.

In my opinion, if you cannot provide a proof that you were granted a Chinese visa in the past, I would advise you to apply and obtain a Chinese tourist visa in advance.

Darien,

The most recent information regarding VOA say that, for undisclosed reasons, the border authorities have stopped issuing VOA for Indonesian citizens. You are advised to postpone your trip or to obtain a Chinese visa in advance.
