About:China Visa on Arrival

Voa for Indonesia tourist

I plan to go to Shenzhen for 3days on May16-19, dont hv enough time to make Visa here, so I plan to make VOA when I arrived at Hkg, so I google and find this article, so now it's really possible to get VOA for us right?

Recent information show that Indonesian citizens are eligible for Shenzhen VOA, but it seems that the Chinese authorities require an old China visa to be presented at the moment of apllication. If you have an old (used) Chinese visa in some old passport, that would be useful to bring with you. If you do not have old Chinese visa, then I cannot guarantee that you will be granted a Shenzhen VOA, although I think that Indonesians are eligibel even in this case.

Please, have in mind that Luohu (Lo Wu) border crossing visa office is open just until 16:30 and you should bring PCR/antigen test not older than 48 hours.
