About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA for Finland citizen

I'm planning to fly to Hainan and apply for a VOA for one week to visit Shanghai and other cities. I haven't ever been to China and no previous Visas. I have a Finnish passport. Would this be doable?

You probably imply Hainan VOA, but I will discourage you to do that. This VOA seems not to be yet reinstated. You are advised to wait for some time or to obtain a usual Chinese toursi visa at your home country. If you rely on Hainan VOA, you risk too much being refused one and this means ruining all your travel plans.
