About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Covid restrictions/requirements

I am a US citizen travelling from Kuching, Malaysia, (KCH), to Vladivostok, (VVO), with a Russian visa and transiting through Beijing.
I see nothing on this website that talks about any remaining Covid restrictions or requirements.
Does this mean that no proof of vaccination or result of a PCR test are required?

Thanks for your help on this!

Please, have in mind that COVID-19 PCR test or Antigen Rapid Test (ART) are required within 48 hours before boarding China-bound flight.

In other words, since there is no direct flight from Kuching to Beijing, you will have to have in mind that your test should not be older than 48 hours at the time of your plane departure from Kuala Lumpur or some other airport that flies directly to Beijing!

Also, if your itinerary is something like this:

Kuala Lumpur - Beijing - Vladivostok

And you will not have any additional landing within mainland China, you are eligible for 144 hours visa free transit in winder Beijing area.
