About:China Visa on Arrival

Visa-Free to visit Hainan

I am s Singapore passport holder, I read on the news that I do not need any visa to visit Hainan anymore. Is that true? Or do I still require to get VOA at Haikou Airport?

Yes, you can stay in Hainan visa free for up to 30 days. But you need to register with a local travel agency and cannot leave Hainan.

I thought Hainan VOA let you travel around mainland china
