visiting for sight seeing and acupunture by private acupunture centre

I have previously have acupunture in china and intend to continue and at same time.sight seeing the various cities in china. is it necessary to get the doctor at the acupunture centre to issue a letter

It will be better to have an invitation letter from the doctor.
