Can I use a M Visa for tourist purposes?

I currently have a 10 year multiple entry M Visa that was granted for a business trip that didn't go through due to the Covid lockdowns right before I was to fly out. I'm no longer employed at that company but can I use this M Visa for tourist purposes?

As long as it's within the validity period, you can use it to enter China to sightsee as you like.
