About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Thailand Passport arrives CAN, to connect a HKG flight <24Hrs. Will 24Hr TWOV allows travel by land?

I am a Thailand Passport Holder and will arrive Guangzhou Airport at 22:00H, then need to travel to Hong Kong Airport for connecting flight to Dubai departing next day at 17:00H (which is less than 24 hours). Can I apply for 24 TWOV and take a train or bus from Guangzhou to Hong Kong Airport under this 24Hr TWOV? I will proceed from Guangzhou Airport after arrival directly to Hong Kong Airport for overnight stay. Thabks

I'm afraid no. You cannot leave the desiginated area in Guangzhou airport during the pandemic period.
