I’m afraid you cannot go with him directly for there is no proper visa for you to apply. Two possible ways for you to consider: first, find a job in China by yourself and apply for a work visa; second, if your bf will enter china on a work visa and apply for a permanent residence permit successfully, and you two get married, and then you may apply for a Q visa.
