rat Scorpio and horse Scorpio- how can I make this union work ?

I am a rat Scorpio married to a horse Scorpio for 11 years. its been challenging and i feel i have been very unlucky for him. how can i make this match harmonious and loving as all Chinese zodiac says rat and horse are a bad match. plus we are having a long distance relationship as i am working abroad.
