About:China Student Visa

Au Pair Visa to China from South Africa

I have just been accepted by a host family in China to Au Pair for one year. I am not too certain on the type of Visa I should be applying for. I am from South Africa. Would I be right to apply for the X2 student visa?
I need to leave by the second week of December. Please advise.

You should apply for an X1 student visa, but according to what I know, China does not issue student visas at present.

Does china have acceptions if you’ve already been accepted into a school?

Unfortunately it is still not available for international students already enrolled in Chinese universities.
