About:SG04-INTL

Change work & residence permit to Q visa

As my current employer will not extend my work and residence permit, I want to change to Q visa.
My wife is chinese.
I am currently in China and my work/residence permit will expire on 31/12.
When can I start with the application for the Q visa?
I am planning stay in China on the Q visa, this will as well enable me to go study, am I correct?

Dennis, you can change the residence permit one month before the expiry date. If you want to study in China, you had better apply for an X visa.
