How long does it take to get an appointment?

I have filed all required paperwork for a visa to China with the NYC branch of the Chinese Embassy. The latest email stated that I would be contacted with an appointment date and further instructions, however there was no estimated time frame.

Does anyone have experience with how long it took them to get their appointment after they had submitted all necessary documents? And after their appointment, how long did it take to get your passport and visa back?

Jimmy, during the epidemic period, the processing time may be longer, and no one knows clearly how long it takes, so just wait patiently.
