I would like to apply for my z visa in Istanbul as it is cheaper to get a flight to China from here. My employer has my pu letter but they need to know what location to put on the letter. I have emailed China visa center. They have not responded. Is it possible to apply for my z visa here in Istanbul?

If you have a work visa or any legal status in Turkey you can apply, so on PU letter just state Turkey.
