About:Marriage Registration in China

How to add my foreigner's name to Chinese wife's hukou

Married 5 years now and retiring, presently hold Z visa and work permit. I need to obtain my marriage visa Q1 but informed I need to add my name to my Chinese wife's hukou, how to do this please? My wife's hukou is in Dalian, Liaoning

You need to go to the local police station where your wife's hukou has been registered to add your name onto her household register.
