Expired residence permit

I have a residence permit that expired after March 28, 2020. My status with the company has not changed and I have a renewed work permit. What type of visa do I need to apply for to return to China? What are the "relevant materials" needed for the visa application? Your assistance is much appreciated!

You still need to apply for a work Z visa. The releant materials may include your passport, application form, recent photo, work permit, and a PU or TE invitation letter obtained through your company.

I have a 10-year R visa that was issued last September (before March 28, 2020) and was used to obtain my work and residence permits. Will the temporary Z visa obtained to re-enter China to renew my residence permit cancel the R visa? Mind you that the Z visa is temporary and the R visa is a premium visa issued for top talent.
Thanks!
