That's not really what I asked... I was asking if my husband can take the family's paperwork to the embassy, or do we all have to go to the embassy for the appointment?

Thanks, Lesly. One more question: Why does the e-mail address you provided for making an appointment by e-mail end with gmail.com? It seems suspicious and uncredible for something as official as an embassy appointment...

Actually I found this email address from the website of the embassy, so I think it can be trusted.

My husband is at the visa office in Tokyo and he is telling me that my application is being rejected because I am not present with him. This may cost us dearly.
