About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Can i enter China now on a L visa?

Hi. I am a Uk citizen, have traveled to China twice. I hope to see my friend. Will i need to do quarantine? How much will a visa cost during this period? If i want to change to a working visa, after finding a job in China, will i have to come back to the UK, or can i do this within China or in HK, Taiwan?

James, you cannot enter China during the epidemic control period on an L visa.

Hi James,

you can not entry China with L visa,only work visa and Chinese resident permit holder can entry China at the moment.and yes you need to have 14 days of quarantine.except hotel fee you don't need to pay anyother fee.but if you want to work in China it's better to find a Job first then hold work visa come to China。because，first school can cover your flight ticket fee second they will cover your quarantine hotel fee.if you want to know more you can send me email:ivy.tic@hotmail.com
