About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

visa

its first time going to China can i apply for Visa now ? is the boarder open yet ? do i need permits or letter ? Thanks

Yes, the border is open now, but only for someone who have got Chinese residence permit before and need to work or reunite with their family members emergently. If you go there for sightseeing purpose, I'm afraid you cannot get the visa.
